No two wells are identical and not all sucker rods are made the same. Poor quality rods and bad rod string design will lead to premature rod string failure, higher workover costs, lower pump efficiencies and unexpected well failures. That's why at VFS we take your rod string design and selection very seriously, as the rod string is only as strong as the weakest link.
Not only do we provide the best rods in the industry from leading rod manufacturers, we also design and select them prior to the supply. We run Rodstar simulation program to pin point the rod load experienced on each section of the string and determine the size, grade, strength and guiding regime.

Ultra High Strength Sucker Rods
Manufactured in AISI 4330 Mod. alloy steel, with nickel-chrome and molybdenum.
Heat treatment: normalized and tempered.
Recommended for non-corrosive wells with very high loads.

Ultra High Strength Special Sucker Rods
Manufactured in AISI 4138 Mod. steel to provide high mechanical strength. Produced from a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel with no nickel.
Heat treatment: normalized and tempered.
Recommended for deep well applications with high loads. Non-corrrosive wells.

Sinker Bars
Sinkers bars are placed strategically in sections of the rod string that experience compressive loads that lead to buckling effects and reduces pump efficiencies. The weight of the sinker bars ensures that the rod string maintains its tensile load throughout the pumping cycle, compensating for the compression forces.
Manufactured in accordance to API specifications they come in 3 Grades according to load requirements.
Sizes are from 1-1/4" to 1-3/4"

Polished Rods
Manufactured in both 4140/4142 and 4120/4130 Alloy Steels, improving abrasion resitance and maximum fatigue resistance.
For corrosive applications, alloy steel with spray metal finishing is recommended. Nickel-chromium surface on the polished rod inscreases corrosion resistance.
Rods are available in lengths, sizes and pin sizes.
